OUR STORY
Malaysian Muslim Travel Agency Assosiation, or MYTRA, was founded in 2023 by a group of tourism professionals who recognized the need to enhance and promote both inbound and domestic tourism, particularly for the Muslim market, which is a key focus of the government. MYTRA is committed to bridging Malaysian agents with Muslim-friendly operators from around the world, facilitating valuable connections and expanding collaborative opportunities. What sets MYTRA apart is its inclusive approach to membership. Unlike conventional tourism associations, MYTRA embraces a wide range of entities, including travel agents, retail businesses, restaurants, homestays, craft makers, convention bureaus, and other tourism-related organizations, reflecting the full spectrum of the industry.
